ABOUT THE COURSE

Is imposter syndrome familiar to you? Do you sometimes experience it yourself? Or do you see your audiences experiencing it, when you facilitate collective work?

KEY CONTENT

This 2-hour workshop will give you new ways to silence your impostor syndrome when you are in a leading role, as well as tools to support your audience in accessing their inner power and using their voice for the collective’s greater good. Participants will leave with tools to tame their self doubt and build confidence.

Professionals who have a responsibility of ensuring that all individuals are able to contribute, while helping organisations deliver great work with positive impact. Typically,  team leaders, facilitators, HR and service/ux/strategy/experience/cx designers, hold such responsibilities.

YOUR FACULTY

Max Masure (they/them)

Max is a white, mostly non-disabled, transgender non-binary queer person. I am a community-centered UX Researcher, Inclusion Consultant, Author, and Public Speaker. Through their gender transition, Max woke up from our oppressive systems - in their personal and professional lives. They moved away from being an insecure people-pleaser by understanding where their impostor syndrome was coming from. Max was named one of the most influential leaders of DEI in 2019 and 2020 by Hive Learning. They recently supported the United Nations in their efforts to improve engagement on their Sustainable Development Goals and advised the Service Design Network Organization as a founding member of their Diversity, Education, and Inclusion Taskforce. Their workbook to silence imposter syndrome is in pre-order.
